Experience an unforgettable evening of smooth rhythms, connection, and Caribbean-African vibes at Pure Havana!

The night begins with a Konpa Workshop with Eddy from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of this beautiful Haitian partner dance known for its flowing movement, musicality, and close connection. Konpa (also known as Kompa) originated in Haiti in the 1950s and has become one of the most beloved social dances throughout the Caribbean and beyond.

After the workshop, stay for three hours of social dancing featuring a mix of Konpa and Kizomba from 9:30 PM to 12:30 AM. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or completely new to these styles, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere, great music, and plenty of opportunities to dance and meet new people.

Expect smooth partner dancing, tropical energy, and an evening filled with connection, laughter, and unforgettable moments on Ottawa’s most beautiful dance floor.
